JOHANNA MIRABEL
CONFLUENCE

PARIS
FEBRUARY 1st - JUNE 10, 2023

Artist Johanna Mirabel takes possession of the walls of the parisian space of Fondation H in February to setup her studio. During her residency, the artist uses painting and installation to explore the boundaries between real and imaginary spaces while evoking the feelings linked to memories.

Working together with her twin sister Esther Mirabel for the realization of an installation, she questions the boundaries between painting, sculpture and architecture, playing with the volumes of Fondation H’s Parisian space. Following her creative residency, her solo exhibition Confluence is taking place from May 17 to June 30, 2023. For this project, Johanna Mirabel collaborates with author Louise Thurin, who wrote the text accompanying the exhibition.
