As part of its mission to support the development of the Malagasy art scene, Fondation H provides a 54 m² studio free of charge to visual artists working in Madagascar. The studio is now available several times a year for two-month sessions and can accommodate up to three artists wishing to carry out research, creation and/or production projects.
Access to the studio is through an open call and is intended for visual and plastic artists residing in Madagascar.
In a secure environment that encourages creativity, the space is equipped with functional furniture, Wi-Fi access and access to Fondation H’s library resources. The studio offers a space for work and research, with the possibility of hosting an open studio without the requirement of producing an exhibition.
Artists remain free and autonomous throughout the programme. Fondation H may provide logistical support to ensure the smooth running of the residency.
